Clinton demand end to sexual violence

GOMA, Congo – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton toured an African refugee camp Tuesday crowded with victims of violence and malnutrition, pledging $17 million in American aid to help stem the tide of rampant sexual abuse that has staggered war-ravaged eastern Congo.

It is good to see the USA taking a stand against sexual violence in countries where the people have no voice and no way of defending themselves. In countries like the Congo, where war has ravaged families and caused people to loose all that they own, the individuals with power have the ability to play God and humiliate and torture people.

Thankyou  all the Aide workers who put their lives in danger to show poeple who have lost everything, that they still have the right to be human.

We do have the right to be human beings, the right to live in peace and compassion with one another. We have the right to our own personal space and the right to defend ourseleves when our space is violated.

However, there are individuals out there who do not believe that all humans have these rights. They believe that they are superior to others, the world owes them something, and they have the right to violate other peoples individual spaces.

Folks think about it, when was the last time you degraded somebody, humiliated them and too away their right to be human…. Just because you could.
